Breakaway, a 5 piece rock band from Sydney, Australia are back with a massive new single ‘Death Valley’. With a sound that reminds you why you still love The Used, Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance, Breakaway have written a future classic with ‘Death Valley’.

Raw & unfiltered, “Death Valley” is an anthem for the disenfranchised. It brings chaotic energy inspired by frustration and anger at the state of the world and having to continuously navigate through the endless bullshit to decipher the truth.

“I was on a writing trip in Los Angeles and decided to take the scenic route to Vegas for some much needed R&R,” says vocalist Sam Biland. “I remember rolling into Death Valley, California (just before you cross the border into Nevada) at 3 am and finding a run-down casino to stay at. I instantly felt a connection with it, it was a physical place that felt the same as where my head was at. The chorus instantly came into my mind almost like a dark nursery rhyme. That’s when I knew we were onto something. This is the song that will set the tone for where we are headed.”
