Melbourne’s BLKLST today unveil the haunting second single, “Let Go“, from upcoming EP Spider Love out Friday June 7 and available for pre-order at https://ffm.to/blklst_spiderloveep. Exploding into 2019 with the first cut from the EP, “They All Look The Same“, featuring Aidan Ellaz of Dealer, BLKLST are backing it up with this huge second offering!

“Let Go” opens with clean vocals that set the tone for the rest of the track. The cleans are reminiscent of a sirens call for the depths – the depths being the all encompassing darkness that follows drug abuse. Passionately aggressive rough vocals answer the tantalising melodic introduction with lyrics of emotional desperation from vocalist Joshua Westwick: “...It’ll take everything you’ve got, and I don’t want to sit here and watch you abuse, but what the f*ck does it matter to me, it doesn’t matter to you.“The track soon finds its way back to the hypnotic cleans that breathe “…so don’t be afraid, just let go” before the heavy elements that give BLKLST their brutal reputation appear and weave their way throughout.
