One of the worlds most progressive acts Between The Buried And Me will return to Australia this month! Grandiose, dynamic, heavy, melodic, technically challenging: these are all words that fall equally short when trying to describe BTBAM’s sonic offerings. With album number seven, Coma Ecliptic (2015, Metal Blade)they have managed to take a significant evolutionary step forward and pushed their creative limits. Instrumental prog rock / jazz outfit, Chon, are joining BTBAM as their special guests, and the opening bands for each show are just as special.
Having recently completed a short national run, the nation;s premiere melodic prog band Voyager will get their home crowd pumped! In Adelaide the time changing ninja’s from Dyssidia will show just what it is that got them recently signed to Wild Thing.
Brisbane will see Sunshine Coast natives and keyboard aficionados, Weightless In Orbit open the night with some old meets new progressive wonderment.
In Sydney, tech metal wizards The Helix Nebula will mesmerise all with their skill and insanely tight offerings, and when things wrap up in Melbourne fans there will be treated to the instrumental wonderment of I Built The Sky.
Incredibly theatrical with ample amounts of speed, prog, quirkiness and out and out riffage, watching Between The Buried And Me perform live is an experience like few can offer. Come and experience a night of sublime musical magic when BTBAM, Cho and their supports create something spectacular.
