Bigger, Better, Best: Are You Ready for Supanova?

It’s time to get your pop culture fix as Supanova takes over Sydney Showground next weekend (19-21 June), and the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre the weekend after (27-28 June).

Friday night kicks off with a Welcoming Ceremony, featuring appearances from our Supa-Star guests and a rockin’ performance by voice actor Eric Stuart.

There’s family fun activities such as real-life Quidditch matches, Timezone’s Pinball Championship, AWF Wrestling and screenings in the AnimeLab.

Imagineer’s Playground will host expert demonstrations such as prosthetics/makeup from Weta Workshop, and monster making in Sydney from Billy Bryan, who’s best known as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Comic books play a strong presence with an exhibition from the Pieces Project, and portfolio reviews/talent search by international publisher, Aspen Comics.

Of course, our Supa-Star celebrities will be on hand to talk to fans during the expo with Q&A panels, autographs and studio portraits. We’ll also host a Vlogger panel in Sydney for the internet crowd.
