Some of you may know Jason Momoa from Game of Thrones or even Stargate but now he will forever be known as Aquaman. Which I first thought was crazy since he is nothing like the blonde haired bright orange shirt wearing original Aqumana character but after seeing the film he suits the role perfectly. Also there’s some huge names in the support cast of the film with the likes of Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, William Dafoe and Dolph Lundgren helping bring this ocean sized adventure to life.

The film tells the origin of how Arthur curry came to be Aquaman but the majority of the story is centred around Aquman’s quest to prevent a war between the worlds of ocean and land. From visually impressive underwater worlds to gripping action and just the right amount of humour this movie really does have it all   

The superhero movie genre is big business these days and DC’s Aquaman certainly lived up to the hype. Aquaman really is the character Jason Momoa was born to play. The Blu-Ray version of the film is packed with special features including over sixty minutes of behind the scenes footage of how they created the world of Atlantis.
