Amy Shark has today released her highly anticipated debut album LOVE MONSTER. Shark’s debut is a beautifully crafted and deeply personal body of work where her strength in songwriting and lyrical empathy shines. Mostly written by Shark and produced by Dann Hume (Courtney Barnett, Lisa Mitchell, Troye Sivan, The Temper Trap), Amy teamed up with a number of industry big names including Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 on ‘Psycho’, Joel Little (Lorde, Khalid, Broods) on ‘Never Coming Back’ and Bleachers front man Jack Antonoff (Taylor Swift, Lorde) on ‘All Loved Up’.
A proud and excited Shark revealed, “Every lyric is real and from my life. If you have ever hurt me, let me down, drove me home, been drunk with me or fallen in love with me – you’ll be on this album.”
“Well the time has come! Today I finally get to release my debut album LOVE MONSTER into the universe! It’s big, bold and goes deeper than the darkest ocean.” – Amy Shark
