“It’s okay to mess up, it’s okay to fail, it’s okay to make mistakes, as long as we can find ways grow from it.” Sabian Lynch, guitarist and founding member of Melbourne’s Alpha Wolf, states as he sums up the personal meaning behind their new EP Fault. The highly anticipated release has had fans chomping at the bit since it’s announcement along with their signing to SharpTone Records. Today, the band celebrate the end of a long road, dropping this EP as they make their way across Europe in support of new label mates Emmure. Metal Noise caught their London show recently, and of the performance said “They’re way too far down the billing but will no doubt be much higher the next time around. They are simply phenomenal.” Despite the distance, the love they have been shown isn’t lost on the band “We’re currently on the other side of the world touring Europe and UK with Emmure having the best time and playing some of the biggest shows we’ve ever played. The responses have been mind blowing night after night, seeing how many people have been singing along every night has had us on a mega high every day. These new songs are proving to be crowd favourites every where we go and we can’t wait to release Fault and see where it takes us!” The EP is now available HERE for AU/NZ and HERE for the rest of the world. |
The band have a few European shows left before returning to their home for a run up the east coast of Australia with Perth’s Daybreak and Melbourne’s Mirrors. After that, the band promise they have more than a few exciting things up their sleeves.
“We’re going to focus on what we’ve always done well, playing live and putting out crushingly heavy music. We have formed a team of great people around the world that believe in our vision and want to see us succeed. We have a lot to prove and even more to give, it’s going to be a busy year for all things Alpha Wolf.”
