When Greyscale Records was formed, it started with the idea of building a family, and now the two heaviest hitting siblings of this family have decided to sort out their differences on the road. This December will see Alpha Wolf and Justice For The Damned joining forces for a miasma of noise as they run the Australian roads for the ‘Survival Of The Riffest’ tour.

Recently wrapping up supporting Thy Art Is Murder around the country, it was vocalist Lochie Keogh‘s first change to truly cut his teeth as Alpha Wolf‘s vocalist. “Jumping straight into the Thy Art tour felt like a shock to the system and a breath of fresh air at the same time. It’s funny, there was such an overwhelming feeling as every show. It was just crazy; hearing crowd reaction and singing along. It’s going to take some getting used to”

Justice For The Damned‘s Greyscale debut Dragged Through The Dirt literally broke new ground for the Sydney four piece, providing the chance to take their music to an international audience, and according to vocalist Bobak Rafiee, that experience really changed the band. “After releasing Dragged Through The Dirt we have done a relentless amount of touring. Taking the show to Europe though, that forced us to step up our game, and really grow as performers. We cannot wait to be back on the road showcasing everything we’ve learnt over this time.”

As for this tour, Rafiee says it’s been a long time coming “Going on the road with Alpha Wolf is something both parties have talked about for years. We’re all excited to hit these venues, especially the places some of us have never been before.” Keogh echoes a similar sentiment “I’m most excited to play places I’ve never set foot in before, especially with a new body of music behind us.”
