Local lady of rock, Ali E has just dropped an incredibly crafty clip of ultimate proportions for ‘We Are Strangers’.

The clip had Ali & bassist/film clip mastermind, Anto Skene set up a makeshift animation studio in the spare room of Ali’s house to produce this psychedelic animation. Having spent hours photo-snapping, cutting, collaging and animating the clip, which features an extra-special cameo from her guitar-wielding sidekick, Patti the pooch, it’s an impressive feat and a snapshot of some of Melbourne’s grunge at its DIY best.

Along with the clip, Ali has just also unveiled a pre-order/fundraiser via a Pozible campaign, for her 10″ vinyl release ‘Creatures’ which drops June 19. All funds go directly to the vinyl pressing, because we all know how goddamn expensive it is to press vinyl, right? And what’s even better? 20% of the profits made via Pozible, will be donated to Animals Australia. So hurry along and snap up a delicious 10″ vinyl pressed on transparent orange!
