To celebrate the end of their ‘Sober’ single tour, The Pretty Littles are today delivering the visual accompaniment, filmed by longtime collaborators Alexander Moore and Patrick Neff. Ahead of their fifth album ‘Skeleton Run’, the band are also thrilled to announce they will be touring nationally in support of the release in October and November.

Skeleton Run’ was recorded at Woodstock Studios in Melbourne by The Pretty Littles and Greg Reitwyk (Neighbourhood Youth, Press Club).

“We wanted to record a live record, or as live as possible, and Greg gets the guitars sounding really thick n’ juicy,” says the band.

“The record talks about some heavy things. Suicide in older people, racism, and asylum seekers. Then there’s the classic late 20s sorta meltdowns – relationships and late night wins and that kinda stuff. The album is a bit heavier for us – feels a bit more dense.”

The Pretty Littles are a four-piece garage rock band from Melbourne with a knack for creating fiery yell-a-longs that have seen them sell out venues across the country several times over.

Across their eight-year career thus far, The Pretty Littles have shared stages with an eclectic mix of artists including Northeast Party House, The Delta Riggs, British India, King Gizzard, Band of Skulls, and The Living End to name a few.

The band have also scored slots on lineups including Bigsound, Festival of the Sun, St Kilda Fest, and Party In The Paddock, and have clocked up a whole lot of love across Triple J and community radio with previous releases.

‘Skeleton Run’ is to be their fifth studio album, due out September 28 via Sunset Pig Records.
