Solid Effort are a five-piece rock band who have been performing live together since 2014. During this time they have gained a significant cult following in their home cities Sydney & Wollongong, and have ventured as far as Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle & Canberra in support of such bands as Shining Bird and The Pinheads. I

Their latest EP ‘Echo Chambers Of The Inner West’ displays much more ambitious songwriting and a greater aesthetic adventurousness than found on their previous releases. The songs on this release were recorded over 2017-18, partly by Jez Player of the Pinheads at ‘The Shed’ in Stanwell Park and partly by the band itself at JMC studios in Ultimo and in various living rooms and bedrooms. The EP was released digitally on May 16, 2018 and will be followed by a cassette release in July, which will coincide with a soon-to-be-announced east coast tour.
