An annual punk & hard-core charity event based in Newcastle, NSW. Loads of artists from all over Australia will come together Saturday, December 1st to raise awareness of issues associated with depression, suicide, anxiety and other related mental disorders, with 100% of profits being donated to beyondblue.
Headlined this year by the one and only party animals themselves THE BENNIES, who have had a massive year of touring their most recent album “Natural Born Chillers”. We are thrilled to have these animals on board for this years’ event.
Before them you’ll be able to catch a few of Adelaide’s finest bands, starting with HIGHTIME, who have managed to create a sound which mixes many genres; yet carries the passion of it’s driving punk rock roots. Next up we have STOLEN YOUTH, who formed in 2000 & quickly gained momentum as a result of their fast paced hardcore-punk sound & strong DIY ethic. The last of the Adelaide trio playing will be SUPERDOSE GANGWAY, who draw influences from The Hotelier, Into It. Over It & Tiny Moving Parts. Local legends ILL NATURED, RUN SQUIRREL, DOWNSIDE, HACK THE MAINFRAME & BOUDICCA round out the band stage plus in the beer garden you will see acoustic acts BROTHERS NUDE (Ebolagoldfish), JAMIE HAY, NINA & REUBEN (Hightime), JESSE COULTER(Grenadiers), SPENCER SCOTT (Paper Thin), ESS EM, VETTY VIALS & DAL FAILURE.
