Hot off the success of BIGSOUND, Moaning Lisa are excited to announce the details of their forthcoming EP, Do You Know Enough?, out October 19 on Hysterical Records and co-released with Father/Daughter Records.
They celebrate the news with new single, “Comfortable” which premiered on triple j overnight.
The track’s slow-burning nature gradually builds to a frantic wall of guitars before dropping back down to a soft and sweet outro; symbolic of the emotional roller coaster associated with coming to terms with oneself after a significant breakup.
Lead singer, Charlotte Versegi notes, “Comfortable was written during that in-between period of dating. It’s a confident, albeit sardonic, journey from accepting to celebrating being by yourself.”
Alongside this release, the band are excited to announce they have brought onboard Katie Rynne from Select Music to handle live bookings in AU/NZ. Of the signing Rynne says,“Moaning Lisa are one of the most dynamic live acts I’ve come across this year. I am unbelievably proud to be a part of their team!”
