Coburg Night Market have released the full details of 2018’s musical program – your soundtrack to the market’s food, drink and artisan offerings each Friday from November 30 – December 21.

Under the experienced and tasteful guidance of Emily Ulman, the Coburg Night Market’s weekly performances have been curated to showcase the wonderfully diverse and consistently impressive local music scene. Each week’s event will play host to two stages: one local independent record label’s hand picked line-up, and Hope St Radio DJs providing the tunes to keep the vibe going.

Following to last week’s announcement of November 30th’s Aarght Records stage take-over (featuring Parsnip, Drug Sweat, J.McFarlane’s Reality Guest and U-Bahn, with Hope St’s Bayu and Moopie), three new hot line ups from local labels House of Beige, Lost and Lonesome andHysterical Records have been added, completing the 2018 program.

Friday December 7,  in the shade of Bridges Reserve’s leafy oaks, the indie label run by Remi and Sensible J,  House Of Beige, brings the inimitable DJ MzRizk, Digital Afrika and Cool Out Sun on stage, while Oscar Key Sungand Gian Manik keep the vibe high beyond the sunset. 

Revered Indie Pop label Lost and Lonesome summon the powers of Great Earthquake, Monnone Alone, Melbourne Cans and The Icypoles on December 14, with Woody and Merve working tirelessly to provide sound support.

And finally, Hysterical Records will throw an almighty Christmas Party on December 21, utilising the awesome talents of Dianas, Shiz Bish, HoT To RoT and Pinch Points to bring peak party alongside DJs Darcy Justice and Colette. 

Established in 2010 the Coburg Night Market is fast becoming one of Melbourne’s most enticing pre-Christmas offerings. Held at Bridges Reserve, Coburg, on 30 November, 7 December, 14 December and 21 December 2018 the Coburg Night Market is an experience for the whole family and brings together an evening of tantalising street food from around the world, an array of some of the city’s finest artisans and some of the best local acts. It’s the perfect backdrop for summer Friday nights in the lead up to Christmas.
