Melbourne tribal psychedelic outfit AlithiA will be embarking on a 23-date European tour with Norwegian prog-rockers Leprous and Iceland’s Agent Fresco throughout October and November. The band will be touring in support of their second album which was recorded in Athens, Greece at the end of 2016 and is due for release in October.

The production of AlithiA’s sophomore record was backed by the support of their fans, raising over $10,000 in their Pozible crowdfunding campaign.

Frontman John Rousvanis comments:
“We’re thrilled to be returning to Europe and exploring a lot of new territories on this run. We feel honoured to be joining both Leprous and Agent Fresco whose unique sounds have had a major influence on us.“

Since returning from their European tour in November 2016, AlithiA’s momentum hasn’t stopped building as they’ve been supporting a series of International bands including Alcest (France), The Ocean (Germany) and touring Australia with Mother’s Cake (Austria) all within the last 6 months.

Renowned for their explosively chaotic live shows, AlithiA has been receiving ongoing critical acclaim. Although AlithiA sit amongst the psychedelic, post-rock and prog genres, their sound is not easily categorised. Their music encompasses uplifting melodies with mutant riffs, driven by tribal percussion and a shamanistic feel which captivates you whole.

This October/November, AlithiA will embark on a 23 date tour around Europe, with Australian tour dates announced soon.
